PIE Strengthens International Partnerships During Strategic Visit to the United Arab Emirates

The Professional Institute of Excellence (PIE) continues to strengthen its international network through a successful partnership development visit to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, reinforcing its commitment to providing students with world-class learning experiences and global career opportunities.

Over the course of several days, PIE met with leading hospitality brands, educational institutions, and industry partners to explore new collaborations that will further enrich the educational journey of our Culinary Arts and Food & Beverage Management students.

The visit included several meetings with Jumeirah Group, Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Dubai College of Tourism, Nestlé Professional, Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi, and Rosewood Abu Dhabi.

Creating More Opportunities for Students

As the hospitality industry continues to evolve, international partnerships play an essential role in preparing students for successful global careers.

Discussions throughout the visit focused on expanding opportunities in several key areas, including:

  • International internship placements within luxury hospitality brands
  • Long-term career pathways for PIE graduates
  • Industry collaborations and educational exchanges
  • Professional masterclasses and guest lectures
  • Hospitality competitions and student development initiatives
  • Future partnerships that strengthen practical learning and industry engagement

These collaborations reinforce PIE’s commitment to ensuring that students gain valuable real-world experience while developing the knowledge, technical skills, and professional mindset required by today’s hospitality industry.

Reconnecting with PIE Alumni

One of the highlights of the visit was reconnecting with several PIE alumni who are now successfully building their careers in Dubai’s luxury hospitality sector.

The PIE delegation had the pleasure of meeting Juan Osorio, now working as Sous Chef at Atlantis The Palm, as well as Morokot and Yangsu, who both successfully completed their internships at Sofitel Dubai The Palm and have since transitioned into full-time positions within the resort.

Their achievements reflect the strong foundation provided through PIE’s industry-focused education and demonstrate the opportunities available to graduates who pursue international careers.

Building Long-Term Industry Relationships

Strong partnerships with industry remain at the heart of PIE’s educational philosophy. By maintaining close relationships with internationally recognized hospitality brands and organizations, PIE continues to ensure that its programs remain aligned with industry expectations while creating meaningful opportunities for students beyond the classroom.

The institute extends its sincere appreciation to all partners for their warm hospitality, valuable discussions, and shared commitment to developing the next generation of hospitality professionals.

As PIE continues to expand its global network, these collaborations will contribute to even greater opportunities for students, graduates, faculty members, and industry partners alike.
